Fandom: Sharpe
Pairing: Sharpe/Jane, Jane/Rossendale, Sharpe/Rossendale
Rating: PG-13
Archive: Lothlorien and [livejournal.com profile] sons_of_gondor.
Feedback: Always appreciated.
Disclaimer: I may march over the hills and far away alongside Richard Sharpe, but Bernard Cornwell, the lucky, lucky man, owns the rogue, not me.
Summary: Of all the things Sharpe was prepared for, he wasn't ready for this sort of betrayal.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] seans_50 February Film Challenge using Sharpe's Revenge as inspiration. Also written for the "Rage" challenge prompt (#19) at [livejournal.com profile] sharpe_thinking and for [livejournal.com profile] kittylass, who is being extremely patient as I am being extremely slow in whipping the LotRPS boys into shape for her. This, then, is a bonus fic written for her that does not factor into her winnings from the [livejournal.com profile] help_haiti auction, but rather is both teaser and apology as other characters continue to drag their heels and refuse to behave for me on paper.

(The force of the blow shuddered up Sharpe's arm, his fist still curled into itself...)

Summary: If there was anything Girdwood excelled at, it was appearances.
Warnings: Highlight to read: 1 instance of a slur against the Irish.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] seans_50 January Film Challenge using Sharpe's Regiment as inspiration. Also written for the "Conspiracy" challenge prompt (#11) at [livejournal.com profile] sharpe_thinking and for [livejournal.com profile] helena_s_renn, as an extremely late Halloween treat I owe her for "knocking" on my virtual!door, er, in 2008. D'oh!

Notes: A fanciful little ficlet written for the [livejournal.com profile] seans_50 September Film Challenge using Sharpe's Honour as inspiration. Also written for [livejournal.com profile] foxrafer, as an extremely late Halloween treat I owe her for "knocking" on my virtual!door. D'oh!

Title: Newly Forged

Disclaimer: I may march over the hills and far away alongside Richard Sharpe, but Bernard Cornwell, the lucky, lucky man, owns the rogue, not me.
Summary: As Sharpe is lost to his wounds and fever, Harper resolves to make a sword worthy of his Captain.
Notes: Written for the [livejournal.com profile] seans_50 May Film Challenge. I chose to go with Sharpe's Sword as inspiration, since it's been far too long since I wrote about the boys on campaign. Predictably, I'm late to the party, and sliding in at the last minute, so we'll see if this even makes the May deadline cut-off. *crosses fingers* (ETA: It did!) Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] savageseraph for the fantastic beta, and the title itself.

(The blade would be sharp, as sharp as its namesake...)

Summary: The Chosen Men share what cheer they have during a Christmas campaign.
Notes: A triple drabble Yuletide Treat (2007), written for Saklani in the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide exchange and originally uploaded here. Saklani asked for "Richard and Patrick [to] share Christmas together while on a campaign." Hopefully this tiny story provides a little taste of Chosen Men cheer.

(With the coming of night, the hills had cooled considerably...)

Okay, I know this is kind of nuts, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any slash that crosses Sense And Sensibility's Colonel Brandon (Alan Rickman in the movie version) with Bernard Cornwell's Richard Sharpe (Sean Bean)? I know it might take some tweaking because I don't think the two stories are set quite at the right time to fling the characters together, but, well, hey. A girl can hope.

Anyone?
