Thank you so much! I have made some more manips, mostly Éomer/Haldir, you can see them on my Lj if you want to. I'd love to know what you think of them! And the story on Elgarain and Éowyn is at some 4.500 words at the moment, there's still a bit more I have to write. I'll let you know when I finished it!

Yes, I wrote Mann of My Dreams, *g* and I have to thank you! That's the nicest reaction I've ever gotten! I love that pair, and I'm so pleased you've enjoyed the series.

Thanks for letting me know there are more manips on your LJ. I'll stop by to check them out. And please do let me know when the Eowyn/Elgarain story is done. I don't usually read femslash, but those two are so lovely!

Well, I really like that you have two equally strong main characters, that's the best combination possible - so much potential for conflict... ^_^ Oh yes, I *do* love it. And I admire you for writing something SO long! I thought my 119.000-word-fanfic on Éomer/Haldir was long, but when see how much you wrote, it's actually quite short... Wow, honestly, amazing work with great characters, great writing and a plot that keeps you addicted. You should get it published, I'd buy a copy!

I hope you enjoy the manips, btw. Today, I bought a magazine on Photoshop and it has some really good stuff that I really have to try. Might help me to improve my manipping-abilities a lot, I think... And I'll let you know when I have that fanfic finished - I feel honoured that you'll read it although femslash is normally not your thing. But you're right, Elgarain and Éowyn are just do adorable!

Thanks so much! Actually, it's too long to be published, if you can believe that. Most publishers don't want more than 70k words. I'd have to split it into at least 3 books, and the first two would most likely be cliffhangers. And aside from that, it would be a hassle to have it taken down from Nifty. I did that with my Friends and Lovers (http://www.amazon.com/Friends-Lovers-Tinnean/dp/1935509071/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1270337198&sr=1-1) series, and it cost me Mann plus additional stories.

You did Hot Fuzz! I love that movie and those two characters! And the elf getting his ear bit? woof!

Too long to be published? That exists? How stupid is that? Well, if you split it, then I'll just buy all three books. Oh, and I actuall read it on Nifty, I was really surprised to find such a good story there with actual plot (it's a bit difficult to find something to my liking in an archive without proper headers... a real pity, especially since Nifty is huge, but I'd really appreciate summaries and ratings and warnings...) Well, I had a look at 'Friends and Lovers', and it sounds really like the kind of thing I *love* to read. I'll have to see how I can get a copy, I'm not in the US, so that might prove a little difficult, but I will try Amazon... ^__^

Aye, I did Hot Fuzz - honestly, those two *beg* for it, they're so incredibly slashy! And I totally agree, it's one of my favourite films, it's fantastic!

And hey, don't you think that Elven ears just beg to be bitten? I mean, there must be something special about those pointed ear? The manip is a scene of my story on Eomer and Haldir, btw, and Haldir getting his ear bitten was crucial *grins*

I contacted Charles River Publishing online, and when I told them the story ran 142+k words, they didn't even want to read the summary. If you've only read Light on Nifty, you might want to check out the version on CRVBoy (http://www.crvboy.org/stories/tinnean/tliye/c01.html). It actually has a couple of additional chapters.

Nifty makes me nuts as well. It's impossible to follow a story there: no search engine, and if the writer isn't in prolific authors, you're out of luck. I take everything I'm about to read there with a grain of salt.

I looked up the German Amazon site and found it! I'll try to get it within the next few days *excited* Oh, I love books...
