Notes: This was inspired by

chlorate's request for a shaving scene and Clemenza teaching Michael how to make pasta sauce, telling him, "you might have to cook for twenty guys someday." I love that the Corleone kids aren't excepted from that duty.

Author's notes: This is part 2 of a series, but can be read as a standalone. The first part, What You Need, was posted on this comm ages ago and can be found in the archive. I thought I had posted this one too, but apparently not. So here it is, for any interested parties. This fic takes place after the hospital scene in the first movie.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Rareslash, but not new to slash fandom. I've written in a TV fandom for years, but I've recently (like in the last two days!) branched out into rare slash. I'm looking for a beta for a Godfather (the movie) fic. I need someone who is familiar with the movie and the characters, and can tell me if I'm being canonically consistent. The pairing is Tom Hagen/Michael Corleone.
