Disclaimer: I don't own Kill Bill or any of its characters and I'm not making any money out of this. Also, the dialogue at the last bit has been lifted straight from the movie, except with the narrative additions. I hope that's allowed, because it's a bit essential to the story.
Summary: The road to revenge is never a straight line.
Additional Notes: This idea came to me as soon as I saw Kill Bill, but I never thought I'd write it down until recently, when I had a conversation with siobhanohare. The part of our conversation's been posted along with the fic and can be found toward the end, as explanation. :P

Oh, this was clever and, once mentioned, oh so obviously inevitable. The cycle of revenge never stops until everybody dies. Makes me wonder if The Bride is dead or if we'll see middle-aged Bride going after her daughter's killer.
