Summary: Brotherly love
An insistent hand on his shoulder woke him up, and he opened his eyes to see Reese bent over him in the darkness, staring down at him.
" Reese? " he said, blinking up at him. " What’s wrong? " He didn’t look upset. Or angry. Or...anything, really. He was too tired to try to work it out.
Reese just looked at him.
" Can I sleep with you? " he asked calmly (well, Reese-calmly).
Francis rubbed his eyes with one hand. Then he threw back the covers and shifted over.
" Sure, " he said, and turned his head to the side, trying to get back to sleep.
Reese practically dove into bed with him. He slid one arm over Francis’ stomach, and rested his head very close to Francis’ shoulder. Francis looked over at him for a second – Reese wasn’t usually a cuddler – but didn’t say anything, and just turned his head and shut his eyes again.
Reese, however, had no intentions of sleeping.
" I couldn’t sleep, " he said, staring at his brother in the darkness, head still practically on Francis’ shoulder.
" I’ve been thinking about something. "
Francis quirked an unseen eyebrow in the darkness, but said nothing.
" Something – " he said - his eyes raking down Francis’ face -
" – that’ll make mom – "
He slowly, furtively, started to slide his hand up Francis’ ribs.
" – really, really mad. ”
He pressed a kiss to Francis' neck.
Francis opened his eyes.
