Title: Beautiful Sins
Fandom: Son of Rambow
Pairing: Lee/Will
Warnings: Swearing, smoking, drug use, alcohol consumption...teenage boys, in short
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Summary: Will can't quite overcome his strict religious upbringing, even when he knows it's hurting Lee.
Sometimes Will wished he could see the world the way that Lee did. No sin, no simple right and wrong, black and white: just endless shades of grey. A world where the only thing that really matters is whether or not you get caught.
It would have been fun. Even years after his family had left the brethren, though, so strong a religious upbringing was difficult to overcome. He couldn't do it - couldn't shrug off a lifetime of being told such things were sick and wrong. An offense against God.
But still...still his hands shook as he shied away, still it took every shred of resolve he possessed not to give in and just let it happen. He knew that if he'd drank a little more, maybe if the night had wound on a little longer...well, who knew what might have happened. Certainly not this.
"I- No. No, I can't..." He heard the hesitation in his voice, the apology, the fear, and he wished he was stronger.
"Eh, fuck it then," Lee said casually, a one-shouldered shrug and another drag from the joint he'd probably blame the whole incident on later. Will looked down at the can of Tennant's in his hand - and it seemed ridiculous, when he thought about it, that he'd refused the joint and taken the drink - in a concerted effort not to see the momentary hurt in his best friend's eyes.
Maybe one day he'll be able to take that next step. Maybe one day, when he can't hear the distant echo of his father's voice any more, and he can better comprehend the distinction between sin and love.

Thanks for this. It is incredibly hard to find something in this fandom, yet when you find it is a pearl ^^.
