Beta needed for In & Out fic
Nov. 4th, 2008 05:20 pmI'm not sure if this is allowed, but since I already posted to
beta_search a while ago and got no response, I'll give it a try.
Pen Name: Rebecca
Fandom: In & Out
Pairing: Howard Brackett/Peter Malloy
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 4000
Spoilers/Time Line: The story revisits a few scenes towards the end of the film and fills in some gaps.
Beta Type: Everything would be great, but most important is grammar, punctuation, choice of words.
Harshness: As long as it is constructive. Please note that I am not a native English speaker and not very experienced in writing English fanfic, so you may need some extra patience with me. (If you think my English is too bad to turn it into something acceptable, please say so right away).
As I said, everything concerning language is most important for me, so if you don't know the movie but are willing to help me out, that's fine. I could provide you with a short summary and some youtube links if you like. If you know the movie, I would gladly accept plot and characterisation comments as well.

Date: 2008-11-05 04:26 pm (UTC)Since you were the first to answer my post, I'll hand the task to you (if you still like, that is).
You can get the story here (http://www.rbreu.de/diverses/inout.html), the link will be active for a couple of days. Just copy&paste it to your word processor and save it in a file format you like. I'm fine with Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, AbiWord and whatever mechanism they provide to mark your comments. You can mail me your comments to rebecca at rbreu dot de

Date: 2009-10-25 10:36 pm (UTC)Uh, actually, it seems that I've never gotten around posting the final version... *feels stupid* Well, I'll go over it once more (which, of course, means that I have to re-watch the movie, poor me ;-), and hopefully I'll post it within the week. So, yeah, thanks for the reminder. ;-)
