A 41,000 word Henry/Montjoy slash novel based on Kenneth Branagh's 1989 film version of Henry V.

Perhaps, in another existence, he might not have found the courage to do so, but Montjoy the herald was human; he was a man of flesh and blood, of gentle nature and compassionate heart, and when he met suffering it was his instinct to want to offer comfort. What he saw before him was not a king, not an enemy, but a man in pain, and his soul was in such turmoil over this particular man that he could not bring himself to hold back even for a moment.

Thrilled you liked it so much - the book is tough going but worth persevering with; hope you manage to get hold of a copy.

As for the rest, what can I say? Those boys inspired me. And they damn' well should have hugged right there on the battlefield; one of them certainly wanted to, and I'm sure they both did really!
