Notes: I love the novel Less Than Zero and I think that the movie is visually stunning and that Robert Downey Jr. is absolutely amazing in it. Contentwise the movie lacks, at least in my opinion (feel free to disagree), the main point of the novel, namely that everything means less than zero. However, I still like it a lot and because of that and the other reasons mentioned above I just needed to vid it. I hope you'll enjoy!

I can't stop watching this. It's so well-timed, and the transitions and effects are done perfectly. Plus, you've totally made me want to rewatch the movie, which I haven't seen in probably 15 years. (I'm not sure I should thank you for that. ;)

It's really great. I liked the movie, but man, it doesn't leave you in a happy frame of mind. Heh. This, however, makes me think threesome thoughts, and is that ever bad? (Okay, maybe when one of you is puking into a toilet during withdrawal, but...)

Oh, I totally agree about the threesome thing :) I didn't plan to make that happen, but it's pretty impossible to vid this without the Blair/Clay/Julian OT3, I think it's kinda comforting, at least that what I get out of it when I watch it. That's one thing the movie has that the book doesn't: they take care of him...

I've never read the book, actually. I've read a lot of BEE's other books, but for some reason that one never made it to the top of my list. I should maybe remedy that.

I feel that could sum up about, oh, 95% of his work. I just saw there was a sequel, and that he even hoped (despite not liking the LTZ adaptation) that they could get the same actors back together for a movie.
