EI. I may have been imagining it but I'm sure there was a series that was basically Alternative Universe, and me and my brother could never get into it. xx
Oh yeah, Was that that "Other Dimension" thing where there were different actors instead of Simon and Marshall? I heard of that, but everyone said it sucked so I never bothered watching it.
I just can't imagine EI without Simon and Marshall. And if they had the same characters but different actors, that would be crap, and if they had characters that were exactly the saem but with different names, that would be crap, and if they had characters that were totally different then it just wouldn't be EI.
Networks should really have some kind of "It's over!" monkey to let them know when to let well enough alone. Like olden times miners with canaries; if the monkey dies, that means it's time to stop making sequels and remakes and made-for-TV movies.
Definately with you there. One example I'm always horrified with is Disney - GIVE IT A REST WITH THE CHILDREN ALREADY!!!! I'm a gaming fan too though. A couple of years ago one of my fave companies, Squaresoft, got bourght out by somebody to become Square-Enix. And now they're making movies of the best Squresoft game ever (Final Fantasy 7) and crap shoot-em-ups featuring the characters and I just want to smack them upside their heads and tell them not to plunge one of my fave games *ever* into the ground. Meh :/ xx
Isn't it Disney that has that rule where stuff gets cancelled after 65 episodes? I always thought that was quite a good idea, personally. God knows Buffy could have been put out of it's misery years before it actually ended. And I mean, I would have liked more Weekenders and Kim Possible and Big Wolf on Campus, but I'm glad they ended when I still had fond memories of them, rather than being like, "Well, I'll watch this because in days gone by it was good, and my foolishly optimistic nature hopes that one day it will be good again."
Although really, Kingdom Hearts? It just needs to be not existing. I heard the new FFVII movie was pretty good, though.
Yeah, I am interested in FF Advent children. But then I read there's a Vincent Valentine shoot-em-up game in production too, and if Advent Children is a sucess then they'll make a kingdom hearts movie, and... Just no! NO NO NO! *thwaps head off table* As for Disneys policies, I don't know. I tend to stop watching things when they start boring me (the simpsons, for one) xx
