Andrae and Santino sat together on the couch, watching tapes of the first few episodes of Project Runway 2. When they got near the end of the second episode, the Clothes Off Your Back challenge where Andrae started crying on the runway, Santino started snickering in the same way he had done on the runway. Here, rewatching in close proximity, Andrae was able to elbow Santino playfully in the ribs, laughing with him.

"People thought you were such an asshole for standing there laughing when I was crying. They were all 'Oh my god, how rude, how mean, what an asshole, get him off this show!' "

Santino grinned and splayed his hand out over the top of Andrae's head, pulling him closer. "How were they supposed to know that I laugh like that when I get nervous? I was so afraid they were going to axe you for crying. I can't believe they fucking thought it was fake! Assholes, themselves." He kissed Andrae's cheek, almost protectively. Andrae giggled.

"And then to have those bonus vids to start the speculation after everyone thought you hated me, the spooning and the big smacking kiss on the cheek. I could almost hear the buzz of fans 'Ooh, is there something going on between them?!' He tugged playfully on a bit of Santino's beard with his lips.

Nuzzling his lips closer to Andrae's, Santino murmured, "Mhm, I guess the producers were right on that one. It was probably more fun for fans to wonder about who's sleeping with whom during the challenge weeks than for them to know we'd already been together for three years when things started."

Andrae straddled his lover's lap, leaning against him. "At least the cameras weren't on us all the time," he replied with a wink before kissing him.
