Fandom: Crossover - Lizzie McGuire/California Diaries
Pairing: David Gordon/Christoper McCrae, aka Ducky
Rating: G
Disclaimer: Neither fandoms/series/characters belong to me. I'm also fairly positive there's a special sort of hell for stories like this one, but we're just going to keep rolling with it.
AN: Follows in the same universe as this story, technically, although in this particular piece, the two are already established as together (at least in my mind). No prompt behind this one either, other then I've seen the new Star Trek movie twice now, and yes, I did watch the Original Series re-runs growing up. I do apologize for the sheer absurdity of this. Really, I do.
Summary: Star Trek vs. Star Wars (sort of)
Dave grinned, and slammed his glass on the table. "Original Series or Next Generation?"
"Original series, hands down."
"Point. Original trilogy?"
"Of course. Favorite's Empire Strikes Back."
"You know, I'm liking you more and more."
"I aim to please," Ducky responded, making motion as to fix his cowboy hat, cocky grin in place. "Favorite
character."
"Larry made sure I mantained a soft spot for Scotty. You won't tell him I preferred Bones."
"Obviously not," Ducky agreed.
"Otherwise I liked R2-D2."
"I was more partial to C-3PO myself."
"I'll forgive you."
"Thank you kindly." Ducky tipped his imaginary hat. "I'm also afraid I might concur with Larry."
"You all do." Dave waved a hand disparagingly in the air, but his wide smile belittled the motion. "Planet Hoth?"
"Better not mentioned. In either."
"Agreed." Dave propped his chin on a fist. "So, honestly. Kirk and Spock?"
"Hell, yes." Ducky leaned forward, eyes mischievous. "Han Solo and Luke?"
"Lightsaber in hands?"
"Always."
"Purple, aren't they? Just for those times."
Ducky shook his head, and grinned. "Bright pink."
